The largest plush Bambi ever made!

Posted by whitetail on 2007.05.05 at 22:47
And he's gorgeous, too!Collapse )

Made by Playgro, this giant Bambi was never sold in the US. (I got mine from England, and the postage alone was over £35 (about $65). Whatever, he was totally worth it to me! I've wished all my life for a lifesize Bambi plush. I can die contented now! :-)

i love this community!! I feel like i really walked into a forest. :)
and bambi is my one and only when it comes to disney characters.
it was the only disney movie that i thought was any fun to act out when i was a kid lol. my friends and i would all pretend to be different characters, and we'd dance around on all fours pretending to run from the forest fire.
good times.
all because of bambi. :p

Glad you liked the first one! Here's the larger version of the animation for Bambi's tail-flip:

I just found this comm, and I had to join it!

The first thing I saw was lordmoufmouf's icon with Bambi chasing the butterfly, and it made me curious what the animation might look like if the butterfly wasn't there. Looks like he's chasing his tail, doesn't it? ^_^

The Bambi 2 DVD is out today!
I also happened to watch the 10 min clip on the official website (which has lots of neat stuff - check it out), and was encouraged - the animation looked good and characters seemed almost true to the originals, except Faline came off as being a little Mary Sue-ish.

See for yourself here: http://disney.go.com/disneyvideos/animatedfilms/bambi2/index_flash.html

Sadly the music could be a little better, I guess...

I know theres only two of us but I might as well post that I got Bambi 2 tonight at a shop that sells things abit early even though they're not suppose to.

It is so great! The backgrounds are painted with such love and beauty just like the first one, same goes for the coloring and lighting such as a fight scene (silouettes and primary colors like the first) or when playing with Thumper and the others (Happy and with bursts of different soft tones).

The voice acting is just so great and just close enough to the orginal.

For a sequal movie, this was done with just so much love and perfection towards the first one.

Everyone whos a Bambi fan should so buy this movie on Tuesday!
